Classes
Classes can be an excellent way to train your dog and get him used to responding to you whilst in a distracting, but controlled environment. Four Paw Solutions' classes are aimed at pet dog owners who want a well behaved family dog. Each course is six weeks in length and is held in the Pamber Heath Memorial Hall near Tadley as part of the Tadley Pet Dog Club. We offer the following courses:
Puppy Socialisation & Training (max. age 20 weeks):
Socialisation and training in a safe, fun environment. Getting things right in the first few months is vital if you want your puppy to grow into a well behaved, well adjusted adult. Puppies can attend as soon as they have completed their vaccinations (please note that some vets are happy for puppies to attend one week after their first vaccination, but you must check this with your own vet first). Cost: £70, includes a comprehensive puppy guide and a clicker Check availability
Beginners (all ages):
This course covers all the training essentials including sit, lie down, walking nicely on a lead, recall, leave, stay etc. Cost: £80, includes a comprehensive manual and clicker Check availability
Intermediate & Advanced:
Once you have completed a beginners course you can move onto our intermediate and advanced courses. Here you will build on the lessons learned previously to take your training to a higher standard. Cost: £70 (this course may be repeated at a reduced cost of £40 subject to availability) Check availability.
Is my dog suitable for classes? If your dog is happy in the presence of other dogs and you are willing to learn, then he will probably greatly benefit from training classes. If you have any concerns about your dog's ability to cope in the presence of other dogs please contact us before booking a place. Aggressive or antisocial dogs will not be accepted into any class - please consider a behaviour consultation instead.
