Four Paw Solutions was established by Rebecca Cox BSc(Hons) PG Dip CABC in 2003. Rebecca is a qualified and experienced pet behaviour counsellor and dog trainer. She lives in West Berkshire with her husband, two young sons and a collection of dogs, cats and chickens. Rebecca has worked with dogs and cats for the last twenty years and has a wealth of practical handling experience. In addition Rebecca has also studied extensively and she holds an advanced postgraduate diploma in Companion Animal Behaviour Counselling from the University of Southampton (completed in 2006). As a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, Rebecca is committed to using only kind, fair and effective training methods.
Our aim at Four Paw Solutions is to help you get the best from your best friend. We don’t look to blame or judge you, we just work with you to improve your pet’s behaviour in a fun and enjoyable way. We understand that even the smallest of problems can upset an otherwise perfect relationship. So whether you are looking to prevent problems by training basic obedience; or whether you are looking to solve a serious behaviour problem we are here to help. All the training and behaviour modification techniques used by Four Paw Solutions are based on kind, modern methods. These methods rely on a scientific understanding of how animals learn and this means there is no need for force or harsh, punitive treatment.
In 2005 Four Paw Solutions took over the Tadley Pet Dog Club. Here we offer a range of classes from Puppy Socialisation and to advanced training.
Due to Rebecca’s interest in gundog training, in 2011 Four Paw Solutions joined forces with Canine Education to form Canine Solutions Gundog Club. The aim of the club is to help pet and working dog owners to get the best from their gundogs using reward-based, fun training methods.
